Recently changed price on EV charger. previously it charged a certain price per kW hour like most chargers. Charging my car to full would be about $17. Which is normal. Now they have added a fee of $5/hr on top of the electricity charge so what cost me $17 previously is now $80. Which was very unexpected and way too overpriced to charge a car.

From Sacramento to Palm Springs I have used IHG hotels. But unfortunately this hotel really ruined it for me. Not only the day of check in they were overcharging me after explaining that I noticed the over charging when I checked out they attempted to charge me an additional fee for my room supposedly being Smokey. For one I don’t smoke. Two from beginning to end they were trying to take more than needed when staying for one night. Then not wanting to take responsibility for it. I won’t be staying here again. I was out the for business and family reasons and to be treated this way being a diamond member is absurd. Do better!

Diamond club member and lobby restroom had code for entry. Like a 7-11 or a gas station in a bad neighborhood. Inconvenient. Low class. Staff was unreceptive to suggestions about this and was in fact rude. “It’s not going to change” was the interruption I received. Not going back. I will take my many stays to Redding or Orville or Corning. Thank you

Great hotel. Had the best of amenities. All the required for a home cooked meal. Complimentary breakfast was good. I only wish it started earlier. Great clean-up crew. Was quite, even though it was in a super busy area.

I recently stayed here, and had a horrible experience. The hotel is in a bad area and there are people wandering the parking lots and sleeping between cars so it's very unsafe we had our hotel key stolen on the way to s local store, and I was approached by people in the parking area and lobby. The safety equipment is not up to inspection and I became violently ill from the breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nrhe staff is poorly trained if at all in hospitality and the facility is not hygienic or safe.

I've stayed here twice while visiting family. The staff is courteous, rooms are clean and they have a decent breakfast.

I was eating at the desk in my room 419 and there were ants coming out and could not eat my food and chips I had purchased downstairs. I had to change my room at 10pm and moved to 406. I did not feel the person on staff showed an empathy.The next morning I got food in the lobby and came up and found another 2 ants on the desk. Under the desk had stains on the walls. Would not recommend staying. Here. I would prefer the Oxford. I also have pictures of the ants and stains but can not post to their Google page. 2/13/25 - Still have not heard back from the District Manager for this location.

I have to give a shout out to Makayla. I appreciate your help, your professionalism, your kindness, and for the laughter. I had some changes that needed to be done, and you took care of it, no problem. Your welcoming attitude working the Front Desk goes a long way and you definitely put the costomer first. You're doing a great job!!!! Please keep up the good work!!!! It's Front Desk people like you that keep myself and my colleagues returning here when we're working in the area. Thank you again for all the help, I truly appreciate it ?

Great hotel. Location is perfect as everything in town is about a 6 minute drive. Close to a grocery store which is very convenient. The breakfast is fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

I have been a Yelp user for many years and wanted to start off my new profile at the Holiday Inn express in Chico, but was very disappointed… it was a very clean, nice place, but it was staff at front desk that really ruined my stay. it started when I went down and asked for an extra pillow and a bald employee with glasses said he would get me some pillows, which was excellent, but I waited for more than 10 minutes in the lobby, but what was most disturbing was when I went to the front desk and looked around the corner I saw the same bald front desk, employee, kissing another employee, a woman with colored hair and a blue shirt .I requested to speak to a manager after I saw that, but the bald employee claims he was the manager I hope not because that was really unprofessional to see. but at least I got my pillow and breakfast. I would not recommend this place to stay sorry
