Check-in was easy, place allows pets, pool actually looks nice but didn't go in. Those are the good things. The location is a bit hard to find (behind another hotel) but there's a Denny's right next door, so that's convenient. The highway noise is intense - it goes all night and the room door and window do not block it out at all. Now to the room. All I want in a motel is a clean room, especially clean sheets and a clean bathroom. If you like that sort of thing as well, don't stay here! Everything in this room is somewhat sticky. The entry door hasn't been cleaned since they opened the place, I think. The walls are grimy and in there are mystery stains and splashes everywhere - especially in the bathroom near the toilet (who's seat was broken at the hinges). ? The shower needs a good scrubbing it's just so dingy. The shower curtain is gross, stained and so dirty that it becomes stiff and crusty when dry. ? The microwave was completely unusable - so stained and crusty and smelly, I wouldn't dream of putting food in there. ? And lastly the sheets. Oh the sheets. Top cover - filthy! Blanket underneath - burn holes from cigarettes; Sheet under that - blood stain!? Fitted sheet over the mattress - also stained!? It's only one night, we kept our clothes on and slept on top of a blanket we had brought from home. Unlike others who reviewed, we luckily didn't have a room that smelled of cigarettes, but it was musty and didn't exactly smell like it had been cleaned recently. Also (and these things are minor but just add to the bad experience) - no outlets near the bed, no side table on the left side of the bed Oh and most of the lights didn't work either, plus the outlets were so painted over, I couldn't plug in my charger. Never again! This motel 6 has completely turned me off from EVER staying at one of their locations again.

My only criticisms are that this motel is too close to the freeway. Even with earplugs the traffic noise is too disturbing. However, it is quieter in the back away from the freeway. Also, recently my room upstairs didn't have ventilation or an exhaust fan in the bathroom or a window in the bathroom. There was no circulation of air in the bathroom at all. This motel has a good WiFi connection.

Been making this place my go to every time I come visit Chico. They have been very accommodating and I've never felt I over paid for what I was getting.. bonus points for having the Dennys in the same parking lot. I know Motel 6 always gets a bad rep but it usually comes down to management. Don't be afraid to give this place a chance.

Some of the reviews raise eyebrows.. Freezer refridg. 21 day stay/-7 days off to return. Room key access laundromat. $2.75 hvy wash barrel washer, 3 wash 1 dryer. Close to hwy99,- noise. Inconsistent daily rates!!!!- no tiered extended stay,,, rates vary daily!!!-$84,90 currently daily as of 11/1/25 Good folks some.

Zac at the front desk is the best person that we spoke to this week. He is also very honest and trust worthy. This is an excellent place. Zac gives amazing service. You're blessed to have him on your staff. I'd give him a raise.

This is the nicest motel 6 that I have ever been to, and I have been to many. The staff are professional and kind. The room was available at 9am for an extra early check-in. The rooms come with cable tv, wifi, refrigerator, and microwave. The showers are small but the water pressure is powerful. I'll definitely be back.

I was working in Chico for a week. Very nice. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The setup was nice with ample desk space for my equipment. Outside the parking lot was clean, well lit and secure. The location was easy on and off the highway. When I pass through again next year, this is where I'll be staying.

We stay here frequently. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there is little if any noise, the location is close to everything we come to Chico for and their rates are a great value! The air conditioning works nicely plus our dog is able to stay with us at no additional cost. The showers always have hot water, the towels are fresh and soft. The pool looks refreshing. The ice is always available and generous. Today I forgot an item in our room at check out. The front desk assistant took me to the room to retrieve the item with out delay. First room had a broken toilet, so we moved to a second one which had holes in the sheets, broken faucet, lots of bugs inside. The staff however were very polite and apologetic.

The best customer service ever! The manager went above and beyond to help me when he could've easily turned me away.. he let my kids and I stay in the pool a little bit after it closed! When the system was having issues instead of making us wait he gave us the room key and allowed us to settle in while he figured out what was going on with his computer system.. I won't stay anywhere else in Chico! Close to several food places, clean property, no loud neighbors, and the vending machines were fully stocked! The only issue with the room was the shower, we didn't really like the setup of it and that there is no tub.. I definitely will stay here anytime I'm up north.. great management and customer service!
