The Days Inn Oroville appears to be an aging motel with mixed reviews, experiencing significant issues with plumbing, staff behavior, and security. Recent guests have praised cleanliness and value, but many have highlighted considerable problems including flooding, rude staff, and unsanitary conditions.
I chose this room because it had "GREAT 10/10" reviews, it's either AI or low standards. Worst choice in hotels I've ever made and will NOT ever return to that hotel. Brushed my teethand the sink backed up, took a shower & ended up in standing water before I was even done, used the toilet and it flooded and stayed backed up our entire 3 day stay. (I'm on very limited funds & there was a NO REFUND policy, otherwise I would have cancelled the whole stay). The hotel is outdated and smells like it. The door had obviously been kicked in because the security latch and a whole piece of door frame fell on us when we entered the room for the first time. Wood floor board piece wasn't even glued to the wall and just kept falling off. The only good thing about our stay was the AC worked great in the 95 degree weather.
Owner was rude the keys didnt work to open the door he moved us twice due to that and was rude to us ended up leaving after waiting for the third key to a third room and witnessing a drug deal and fight in the parking lot ...I was done asked for my money back . This place is gross!
Single level motel. The pool is outdoors and not heated.
Jay & Nick we're very accommodating the rooms we're nice and clean the price was fair
Oroville is on cheaper side of hotel cost. My event was in Chico. Oroville is 22 miles away and 40 to 50 dollars cheaper than Chico. Nicer Hotel. I was happy And i would really
Clean nice place. Staff are very nice.
Rooms are clean and updated. Staff is awesome. Have stayed here many times over the years. Family run with excellent service.
Look, if you're looking for a bed and a shower, this is a FANTASTIC value. The pool was a refreshing hour as well. it is an older hotel. That being said, expect the regular issue with an older building.. but enjoy the amazingly cold A/C. oh, btw. SEMI TRUCK PARKING in the dirt lot right in front of the rooms.!
The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nicely updated. Owner/Manager had no personality and breakfast did not consist of anything but watered down coffee, cereal, bananas and some individual wrapped pastry. The pictures on the website are dated because the rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable.
It is a 2 star budget hotel. No frills, although it did have a microwave and fridge with a totally frosted and unusable freezer section. It was very clean and had nice pillows and towels. The heater/AC had a very noisy fan that we turned off during sleep. Luckily it stayed comfortable all night.
